Mount Cook Village | New Zealand
After having bad luck with the weather in Mount Cook National Park one year ago, the colossal desire to see the summit on a clear day remained.
A feeling of awe fell over me as the sun fell behind Mt. Cook painting the sky shades of blue, red and pink. The combination of the mountain with Hooker Glacier hiding in its shadow was enough to render me speechless.
As I was standing in awe of my surroundings, the sound of crashing avalanches was a stark reminder that nature is ever-changing.
