Israel | Yavne | Engagement session | Gal + Anton
A year ago, just before the first snow has fallen, I received an email from Gal & Anton, a couple I met via Couchsurfing. »We are getting married« they said, »and you were the first photographer we thought of – would you come to Israel next summer to capture our wedding day?« I felt so honored and suprised at the same time I still can’t describe my emotions in words. They picked me? Can this be true?! Traveling to Israel to photograph their wedding – yes, absolutely yes!
The wedding was planned in July, a week before me, Rožle and Miha scheduled our trip to Mongolia. Perfect timing!
I couldn’t imagine how the landscape would look like. Which was even bigger inspiration for me. Going photograph the wedding without the exact plan? That’s something new.
I went there to spend my time with Gal and Anton, get to know their culture better and experience local living. When I arrived, we did a little bit of location scouting and used the opportunity (and wonderful beach), to take a few engagement photos. What I loved about this session is that we had their dog Leo on the photos as well, because it’s big part of their lives.
Within a few days the big day arrived. Wedding day of Gal and Anton.
