Best of Wedding Photography 2014

Wedding is the one and only (exception proves the rule, ofcourse). Organising it is not that simple. Finding the right venue, photographer, videographer and every other element of wedding is searching for a needle in a haystack. So what is the thing that really matters when picking up the right one?

Picking up people to work on your wedding is like building the crew to sail the ocean with. What are the characteristics you’d be searching for? From my experiences I think there is quite a few important things.

1. To trust the photographer 
Trusting photographer means knowing if the storm while sailing will come, she will handle it the best. You are getting married, so sailing is not your job. But it is your job to tell photographer all the ideas, to help her understand what kind of photos you like the most.

2. Enjoy viewing photos in photographer’s portfolio
If you enjoyed viewing photographer’s portfolio that’s a good sign.

3. Enjoy chating with photographer
Communicating with photographer is important. She is not there just to take photos of your wedding, but also to help out if you have any questions, need any ideas etc. Remember – when the storm on the ocean comes, you need crew with good communication skills!

At the end – trust your instinct, believe in yourself, expect the best but not expect too much and I’m sure your wedding day will be perfect and sailing full of wonderful memories. Better as you imagined.
